I’ll share more photos of the trees in their peak fall colors. Soon, my outdoor grounds crew will be busy blowing all the leaves. These trees also change color – its blue-green foliage turns bright yellow in fall. Outside my Winter House, I have three tall weeping katsura trees. In fact, they get the name “bald” cypress because they drop their leaves so early in the season. The fall colors are tan, cinnamon, and fiery orange. From this angle, one can see the slight tinge of brown in the center tree – this one is always the first to turn. My Stewartia garden across from the long pergola is bordered on one side by a stand of distinguished bald cypress trees, Taxodium distichum. This bush is as low-maintenance as it is dazzling, making it exceptionally easy to grow as either a single specimen plant or in a grouping. Not far is this striking burning bush shrub with fiery scarlet foliage just starting to show. Maple fall colors range from yellow to orange to red. Here are more maples outside my main greenhouse. Pin oaks normally reach 60 to 70 feet tall but can reach heights of 100 feet. The pin oak also has an interesting growth habit, with pendulous lower branches, horizontal middle branches, and upright upper branches. Once its fall color display is done, pin oaks often retain brown leaves, which persist on the trees through winter. The leaves are changing to yellow and reddish bronze. Looking up, these pin oaks are just starting to turn color. They are so easy to grow and maintain – they are popular landscape trees. My pin oaks, Quercus palustris, have done so well. Here is one of many Japanese maple trees at my farm and one of the two I planted in 2019 after taking down six large evergreens from this area. I loved the linden tree allee so much, I decided to extend it all the way down to the chicken coops – I am so pleased with how well it is growing. Here are the weeping hornbeams, Carpinus betulus Pendula, on one side of my “soccer field” where my grandson plays whenever he visits. The oblong green leaves turn various shades of red, orange and yellow in the fall, often persisting into the winter months. Persian parrotia or Persian ironwood is a small upright tree or large, rounded, multi-stemmed shrub. The American beech, Fagus grandifolia, is native to eastern North America and turns a pretty golden-bronze in fall. Here is my grove of American beech trees. Although some autumn coloration occurs wherever deciduous trees are found, the most brightly colored foliage is seen in Canada, the northern United States, Scandinavia, northern and western Europe, the Caucasus region near the Black Sea, Russia, eastern Asia, Argentina, Chile, southern Brazil, Korea, Japan, and New Zealand’s South Island. I love the layers of color created by the changing leaves. The perimeter around my paddocks displays such wonderful shades of orange, yellow, amber, brown, and green. London plane trees are among the first to change color in fall from a deep green to yellow brown. The chlorophyll breaks down, the green color disappears, and the yellow to gold and orange colors come out and give the leaves part of their fall splendor. Some trees change early, others late – usually from October to November in the Northeast.īecause of changes in the length of daylight and changes in temperature, leaves stop their food-making process. Here, the changing leaves haven’t quite peaked yet, but the fall foliage is already looking so pretty around the farm. As you can see from the recoil test screenshot below, one could fire around 40 bullets with the POF-9 in this loadout setup without losing much control, and that’s a great perk to have in Siege, especially when dealing with multiple enemies at once. Both attachments specialize in lowering weapons’ vertical recoil, and that goes a long way to controlling the overall recoil of the POF-9. Luckily, if the player’s priority is to have the best recoil control possible on their POF-9, it’ll be easy to achieve by simply attaching a flash hider and a vertical grip to it. But the main drawback to using the POF-9, especially after the massive recoil progression overhaul that dropped with Operation Brutal Swarm, is that its recoil can be quite challenging to hold. With the POF-9, Sens really excels at providing cover fire for their teammates on top of providing them visual cover with their R.O.U. The POF-9 assault rifle is an incredible weapon in that it inflicts a good amount of damage per shot, has a huge magazine capacity for an assault rifle, and its stock recoil is quite manageable, especially if you use the right attachments. POF-9 with Scope 2.0x, Flash Hider, and Vertical Grip + Gonne-6 + Hard Breach Charge Primary weapon - 417 with Scope 2.0x, Suppressor, Vertical Grip, and LaserĤ.Being able to destroy reinforced hatches or perform hard breaching on reinforced walls with the use of the hard breach charges.Having the ability to neutralize a troublesome bulletproof defender gadget with the use of the Gonne-6 hand cannon.Enemies will appear bigger on Sens’ screen due to the scope 2.0x making them much easier to hit.Having a strong vertical recoil control on Sens’ 417-marksman rifle with the use of the vertical grip attachment.Inflicting heavy damage from the 417-marksman rifle without providing enemies with a directional threat indicator of where Sens’ shots are coming from.As for the generic gadget, the hard breach charge will allow Sens to perform hard breaching on reinforced hatches or even walls. The silencing of Sens’ 417-marksman rifle also means that they will be able to hear incoming enemies better even while they’re shooting, and that could prevent them from being caught off-guard by flanking enemies. That’ll prevent them from being able to effectively counterfire or know Sens’ exact position. Projector System, the enemies will not know the direction of where their shots are coming from. With that, when Sens is shooting behind the cover of their R.O.U. That’s because the suppressor will hide the 417’s directional threat indicator, remove its muzzle flash, and greatly dampen its gunshot sounds. And when it comes to dealing with enemies at medium range, the suppressed 417 is a great weapon. Because of their role of providing a lot of cover for the attacking team’s push, Sens would mostly be performing backline support. In actuality, this is a very solid loadout for Sens and it complements her special gadget. There is also a green wire that goes from one of the bolts holding the motor together, to one of the bolts that holds the platter gear bracket to the metal top chassis. There is a capacitor outside the red box that connects the yellow wire from pin 2 to the black wire on pin 3. The third pin is a black wire that goes to the red box on the side away from the motor. Connected to the yellow wire inside the red box is a black wire that goes to the motor. The second pin is a yellow wire that goes to the red box next to the motor. There is a 3 pin jack, the first pin is the red wire which goes strait to the motor. For some reason one of the previous people to work on it decided to tape the black wire to the yellow wire, they were not electrically connected there. The black wire leading from the plug to the red box, which is diffrent from the black wire going from the box to the motor, had part of the insulation stripped. Maybe a pic of the top will jog a few memories. I see the yellow wire seems to be either repaired or had another conductor bridged off of it. Otherwise, Take the two wires off the motor and marrette the AC to see if they still work. A serach for Collaro wiring scemes may be of help. As to what wires do what in your turntable, Micromatic is a changer made by Collaro of England. Grounding for the cartridge is moot as it is a ceramic. Also, in the 60's, many houses still had 2 wire outlets, or even knob and tube wiring that never had standardised hot and common sides. Grounding to earth is not necessary for that kind of audio gear, therefor was never implemented. I suspect the wiring for this type of player follows one of a few patterns. It is a basic 4-speed idler drive record changer. The switch on the top has no wires, just a bar, so I think the red box is a mechanical switch, although it never seems to visibly make contact. I never understood why it is legal for electronics with metal enclosures to not have a safety ground with a 3 prong cord. With live voltage being fed into the chassis, I'm suprised it didn't electrocute me, or whoever mangled it while it was in the cabinet. These tests were done with the power switch in the off position. The yellow wire on the jack has no connection to the ground bolt. The portion of the motors black wire not connected to the motor, but leaving the red box has a connection to the ground bolt that fluctuates randomly between 8-36 mega ohm. The black wire leaving the motor has a random connection no connection to the ground bout. The red wire never has a connection to the motor's green grounding lead. I'm not sure what a baseball sized AC motor would normally read. I know there is a lot of copper but that seems high. I cut the two wires to measure the motor separately. Can you disconnect the motor and see what the continuity is like? I do not like that it is tripping a breaker though. I suspect that the three wires are for wiring in the amplifier switch. There are just 3 input wires, If I knew what they were supposed to have, I could rig something to test this. Is there another possibility? I'm used to working on things with DC brush motors. I suspect this means the motor windings have failed. Only then did I remember, it was an off day, that I should do my tests before plugging stuff in. Being told this and knowing it is wall current, I rigged a 3 prong cord and instantly tripped the circuit breaker. There is a 3 wire plug red, yellow, black. One of the people there who is a repairman, said that meant that I shorted the meter to ground. I connected the lead to the center and my meter threw sparks and melted the tip of the probe. I tried to get the voltages with a multimeter. the service manual just says oil it regularly. If powered on the record player makes no sound what so ever, and attempting to start it by hand has no effect. The alignment was so bad on the auto drop as to dislocate the gear and lock up. The record player cabinet used to run fine, then somebody mangled the turntable during a rental. I was asked to fix a magnavox micromatic model W801-01 00 REF NO6912. |
